The Best Times Lyrics by Pres

Writing Solo

2019

[Intro: TW3LVE]
You know I needed you
[Chorus: TW3LVE]
You know I needed you baby
You know I needed you
I see myself with you lately
I hope you see it too
And you've been driving me crazy
What is a man to do
When all I think about daily
Is how much I want you
You know I needed you baby
You know I needed you
I see myself with you lately
I hope you see it too
And you’ve been driving me crazy
What is a man to do
When all I think about daily
Is how much I want you
[Verse 1: Pres]
Got me thinking back to the best of times
Like when we would sit down and just stare in each other's eyes
And girl I miss it, they so blue, don't want to say goodbye
I’m sorry that I blew up and I destroyed the vibes
But and then she says I'm worth it
I know that she's perfect
I was just mad finding out that she's searching
For another man, and that left me hurting
Want to stay together, girl you know we both deserve it
[Chorus: TW3LVE]
You know I needed you baby
You know I needed you
I see myself with you lately
I hope you see it too
And you've been driving me crazy
What is a man to do
When all I think about daily
Is how much I want you
You know I needed you baby
You know I needed you
I see myself with you lately
I hope you see it too
And you've been driving me crazy
What is a man to do
When all I think about daily
Is how much I want you
[Verse 2: Pres & TW3LVE]
Girl I swear you pulling out the very best of me
Holes in my heart, I know you the missing piece
You into the next guy, but I'm still in deep
I ain't moved on, let me tell you what it be
I been thinking ‘bout you on the regular
Is it hot in here, who turned up the temperature
And the man you with, he ain’t no competitor
I’m chasing you because the break-up hasn't registered
You been on my mind
Baby you been on it
Wasted all my time
Baby I been zoning
For a whole week
Got me going off no sleep
I’ve been trying to get your body
Right here next to me
But I can't
You found another man
You didn't wait
And I don't understand
We could’ve been great
And wait for the perfect day
For me and you to run away
For us to run away
[Chorus: TW3LVE]
You know I needed you baby
You know I needed you
I see myself with you lately
I hope you see it too
And you've been driving me crazy
What is a man to do
When all I think about daily
Is how much I want you
You know I needed you baby
You know I needed you
I see myself with you lately
I hope you see it too
And you've been driving me crazy
What is a man to do
When all I think about daily
Is how much I want you
