Tryna Get to You Lyrics by T.West

It’s About Time: The Return

2016

[Intro: Bruno Mars sample]
My neighbours think I'm crazy
But they don't understand
You're all I had
You're all I had
At night when the stars light up my room
I sit by myself talking to the moon
[Verse]
I sit by myself and talk to the moon
Everytime the stars light up in my room
Think of you 'cause I'm tryna get to you
Sometimes I hear your voice talking back to me too
Then I lose my mind, sometimes I cry at night
Hoping that you gon' be by my side
But you far away & I done lost faith
I was never the clingy type, always tried to give you space
Gave you my all, but that was not enough
Gave you more of me, but still you gave me guff
And here I am talking all alone
Wondering why you never pick up the phone
I've gone crazy, people don't understand me
No one seems to get me, I just miss my baby
Lately, I have been so lazy
Think of you, daily, you'll come back? Maybe
We had a future, why did you leave?
When you left, it was hard to me eat
Hard for me to sleep, hard for me to breathe
Felt like the world is against me, I'm inside a pit
I'm the talk of the town, a trending topic
"Uyahlanya lomfana, I think he lost it"
Those are perspectives from neighbours
Thought you the one, it's evident it ain't ya
Will I talk to the moon forever?
Try to move and try to find another
Even if I do, I won't love her like you
Can't give her my all, the same way I gave to you
Damn! I hate it when you don't talk back
Maybe you know it's true, it's just like that
Ey, I feel guilty 'cause I did nothing to ya
Sometimes I just wish I had insomnia
Maybe it would have been better like that
When you left, my brain always thought about death
Anyway, sorry to those I've hurt
I need nobody else except my Pearl
It sounds hilarious, but it's so true
Everyday I wake up, I think of you
But maybe it's for the best
I'm sorry, had to get this out of my chest
[Outro: Pearl]
Ya! It's T.Pearl
Uhm, I guess you don't believe me when I say what I'm about to say
So this is dedicated to you
Aw'thi ngik'ngene nou
Ahh, baby girl it's been a while since I've known you
But I fell in love the 1st time I saw you
Yea! I love you girl or should I show you
Give me a chance I'll see you 4 times in a row boo
Bheka ke girl, mamela, ngiyak'tshela ke
I love you neh, ngeke ngik'yeke nom' ung'khalela
Ngicel' ung'fake neh, ngiyak'thembisa ngeke ngik'cheat(ele)
Nawe uyashisa, uvutha bhe!
Ngifun' ukuk'kiss(a) noma sixabana, I wish sizothandana
Take the good with the bad, smile with the sad
Love what you got and remember what you had
Always forgive, but never forget
Learn from your mistakes, but never regret
Ngiyafis' ukuba nawe kushisa
Kubanda ngiyaz' uzong'fudumeza
So please ma, asizwane we ain't deaf now
I know you got a man, but ngizoy'shaya ngestina
