LOCUSTS. Lyrics by U-SIF

DARK-ANGEL

2021

[Chorus: U-SIF]
POTUS. SCOTUS
It’s all HOCUS POCUS
Presidents the new pharaoh
I’m just waiting for locusts
COVID. NO SHIT
This world is so hopeless
Presidents the new pharaoh
I’m just waiting for locusts
[Verse #1: U-SIF]
Watching the news, feelin’ soulless
So confused, I’m kneeling hopeless
No rest, I just need to focus
So stressed like I got four kids
Live for the present, day and night
Work for the future, I stay and fight
Everything’s Corrupt, Arrest the President
I was in a rut, a test to my precedence
Ideologies erased and mindsets replaced
Mythology states that time is displaced
Cults transition to religion a decision
Was made, but God still stayed cause I
Was asleep, and had no purpose cause I
Was weak, sucked by leeches and liars
Preachers really reaching for that fire, desire
Prevails, but fails cause beauty is subjective
Atheists, I started to see their perspective
I hate theists that are so ignorant, neglective
Existence over essence, now that’s essential
Persistence over pussy, now that’s potential
Leave the rich alone, y’all just wanna be equal
Wanna bitch and moan, they were normal people
They my people, I’m just fighting for them
Decided to be rich, now I’m at the forum
The fountain of youth has been abused
Elixir of life’s been struck with strife
Pharaoh’s blood, but I feel like Moses
Freedom of choice, but I’m not chosen
[Chorus: U-SIF]
POTUS. SCOTUS
It’s all HOCUS POCUS
Presidents the new pharaoh
I’m just waiting for locusts
COVID. NO SHIT
This world is so hopeless
Presidents the new pharaoh
I’m just waiting for locusts
[Verse #2: U-SIF]
Happy new year listen hear bitch
2021 savage, I hope this year’s average
EMERGENCY ALERT. Another kidnapping
No urgency at work cause all the kids napping
Now in public it’s illegal to meet people
I hated the first film, don’t need a sequel
Back to keeping our love lockdown, clocked out
Punching in and out, but got so knocked down
The government is so very discreet man
Fuck the cure, just give em the treatment
It’s like a life-or-death subscription
But with popping pills and prescriptions
If I get this disease
Before I get the vaccine
I hope I die with ease
Pope pray for me please
Corona turned me into a loner woke up
One morning and had my diploma certified
Eyes Wide Shut, I always check my sources
Sky’s High, but there’s only a couple courses
Cause you’re either uninformed or misinformed
Either filling out forms or in uniform
Acting tough, All black, All camo
All white, y’all ran outta ammo
Alright, y’all so damn shallow
Lights out, but scared of your own shadow
White house password, Fidelio
Infidelity’s last word, rebellion
I sleep tucked in, I’m a quad shot fiend
Cause fuck routine when it’s quarantine
[Chorus: U-SIF]
POTUS. SCOTUS
It’s all HOCUS POCUS
Presidents the new pharaoh
I’m just waiting for locusts
COVID. NO SHIT
This world is so hopeless
Presidents the new pharaoh
I’m just waiting for locusts
[Bridge: U-SIF]
I’m just waiting for locusts
I’m just waiting for locusts
I’m just waiting for locusts
I’m just waiting for locusts
[Chorus: U-SIF]
POTUS. SCOTUS
It’s all HOCUS POCUS
Presidents the new pharaoh
I’m just waiting for locusts
COVID. NO SHIT
This world is so hopeless
Presidents the new pharaoh
I’m just waiting for locusts
