Criminal Lyrics by Uncanny (Montréal)

City

0

[Intro]
I wanna be a criminal
Who's fly from time to time
I’m becoming an animal
Who glides from rhyme to crime
[Verse 1]
Barefoot in the mire
A foggy desire
Belvedere's strobing
Revealing hearts on discount
Is it that I'm tired
An illusion so far
The backstreet's whispering:
"Let me show you what's behind the lies you hide inside"
[Chorus]
I wanna be a criminal
Who's fly from time to time
I’m becoming an animal
Who glides from rhyme to crime
Let's hope one day I’ll realize
That I’m like oil on firе
A spark turns me on
Bursting what’s left of my mind
[Verse 2]
I found a weird family who has it all to plеase me
All I could do was agree to their ensnaring creed
Keeping focus on their entertainment
Serving the circus as a client
[Chorus]
I wanna be a criminal
Who's fly from time to time
I’m becoming an animal
Who glides from rhyme to crime
Let's hope one day I’ll realize
That I’m like oil on fire
A spark turns me on, a spark turns me on
Bursting what’s left of my mind
[Bridge]
Can a man be more depraved?
I’ve lost my origins, traded them for another skin
Am I the one who betrays?
In a game played like a race amongst those familiar faces
Who gave me everything from the cradle to the grave
[Verse 3]
I found a weird family who has it all to please me
All I could do is agree to their ensnaring creed
I've lost my focus on my entertainment
When the laughter’s reduced to silence
[Chorus]
I wanna be a criminal
Who's fly from time to time
I’m becoming an animal
Who glides from rhyme to crime
Let's hope one day I’ll realize
That I’m like oil on fire
A spark turns me on, a spark turns me on
Bursting what’s left of my mind
