Its Not What You Know Lyrics by Val Storey

0

[Verse]
When it comes to book learning its plain to see
I whole lot of folks know more than me
Jesus said if we believe
Its just one book that we really need
[Chorus]
And it’s not what you know
But, it’s who you know
The holy bible tells me so
Passing thru this world below
And it’s not what you know
But it’s who you know
And it’s not what you know
But it’s who you know
[solo]
[Verse]
Where the knowledge of this world applies
I guess you could say I ain’t qualified
But one thing I know Jesus died
To save my soul, He’s a friend of mine
[Chorus]
[Solo]
[Verse]
Well, the finest teachers in the finest schools
Don’t say much about the golden rule
But the master says He’s the truth
The way to life is there for you
[Chorus]
[Chorus]
[Outro]
The holy bible tells me so
Passing thru this world below
And it’s not what you know
But it’s who you know
And it’s not what you know
But it’s who you know
