The Mountain Plan Lyrics by Verah

The Voyager: Borderline Reality

2013

[Verse 1]
I look at the TV everyday
To see these people getting paid
For songs that ain’t that long
I won't be an outcast for long
I'ma give it my all
I'ma fight strong
Making and break bonds in song
Hip-Hop
R&B
Def Jam watch me
[Hook]
I'ma go to the top of mountains and raise my fist
Wave my hand
Turn my pennies into a grand
But first I need a plan
[Verse 2]
I started off in the minor league
Pastor's hands on top of me
CJ singing 'Pasta Preach'
Then one day I had a dream
Like Dr King and I intend on living it
I have this talent
I've been given it
So give me some time given it's the right place
The award
I'm receiving it
Be prepared to make a stand
Raise your fist and wave your hand
Turn those pennies into a grand
But first you need a plan
[Hook]
I'ma go to the top of mountains and raise my fist
Wave my hand
Turn my pennies into a grand
Because I have a plan
I'ma go to the top of mountains and raise my fist
Wave my hand
Turn my pennies into a grand
Because I have a plan
[Verse 2]
Stop and freeze
I'm not gonna get involved with beef
All this ‘gangsta rap' ain’t me
But I'm still a G
I like to spit about girls and swag
Cause Daryl's got a lot of that
A lot of class
A lot of bass
And that's so deep that I blow this place
I move with pace
I'm not that slow
I'm Italics
I'm not that bold
And I'm eighteen
I'm not that old
Yeah
Man I just struck some gold
D.A.C. I represent
C.O.V. I represent
G.O.D. I represent
All these haters I resent
If I send you my mixtape
Press 'Resend'
If you don't like it then 'Unfriend'
Born with a mic in my left hand
So I'm gonna make a stand
[Hook]
I'ma go to the top of mountains and raise my fist
Wave my hand
Turn my pennies into a grand
Because I have a plan
I'ma go to the top of mountains and raise my fist
Wave my hand
Turn my pennies into a grand
Because I have a plan
[Verse 3]
Don't you watch that mountain hype
I'm usually not a mountain guy
But all these other molehill guys turn off the lights and rob you blind
They say they individual but the copyright should be criminal
Blood
They chat about guns and smoking blunts
So watch me smoke these world war drums
[Hook]
I'ma go to the top of mountains and raise my fist
Wave my hand
Turn my pennies into a grand
Because I have a plan
I'ma go to the top of mountains and raise my fist
Wave my hand
Turn my pennies into a grand
Because I have a plan
I'ma go to the top of mountains and raise my fist
Wave my hand
Turn my pennies into a grand
Because I have a plan
