Disillusion Lyrics by Vicci Martinez

Sleep to Dream

0

I believe we start out free
Sheltered from this evil world
And our view on life is simple
Not careful of the things you choose
And time seems never ending
Life is just a game never lost
There's no worries or confusion
This easy road never stops
Soon we come to find
This world won't treat us kind
Raise us to be blind
And give into their lies
This disillusion
This disillusion
And now that we have grown
The memories just bring us tears
Desires and dreams unfolded
Will never ever reappear
The pain seems never ending
The future turns out to be a waste
'Cause were all slaves for somebody else
Crash and burn becomes our fate
Soon we come to find
This world won't treat us kind
Raise us to be blind
And give into their lies
It's a disillusion
It's a disillusion
So know, we learn to settle for less
We've all found comfort among this distress
All we can do is bring out the best within
Soon we come to find
This world won't treat us kind
Raise us to be blind
And give into their lies
Soon we come to find
This world won't treat us kind
Raise us to be blind
And give into their lies
This disillusion, oh yeah babe
It's a disillusion, disillusion, oh yeah babe
It's a disillusion
Oh, it's a disillusion, oh yeah babe
Oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah oh babe
