Finally Famous Lyrics by Ricky Tyler

Happy 2 Be Alive

2024

[Intro]
[Verse 1: Ricky Tyler]
Finally famous
Look how long it took me to go places
I had to wait on my turn, I played different
And there's a lot more in store, we shopliftin’
Price just went up, it's long distance
Blow money 'cause I was just bored listenin’
I'm just over the top, it's God given
Know where to find me, Radisson Blu kitchen
Even now I get caught up with these women
Snow bunnies who like to get fucked different
The same ones who tell you about religion
You know I'm already at peace
You know I bury all my tears when we mingle
You know I'm always with the trap, it's the lingo
Come rock with the Genovese
Look at how we livin', OTT
Times I almost died in the RV
RIP to all of my OG's
Niggas gettin’ popped on the concrete
[Chorus: Vuyina, Ricky Tyler]
Please hold me just a little closer, oh woah
Days like these be gettin’ just a little harder
I need ah, a breather (Yeah)
My dear
[Verse 2: Ricky Tyler]
Finally Famous
Still goin' through all of the same pages
Just a lot more people who want favours
Can’t breathe, l'm goin' through heart failure
I've had to bury my mother, my Lord saviour
It’s when it rains and it pours on the pavement
I don't know how to explain it
Everything changes, uh
First time I was in the dark ages
Did some things you could call dangerous
Made it out alive, now it's all gravy
Fell in love with uh-, but she won't claim me
Never goin' back for my own safety
Rather not shit where I know we gon' eat
You know how it goes when you in too deep
Plot gon' twist then my files get leaked
It's why I don't talk too these weird ass guys
Keep me in check when we move outside
Sometimes I could really lose my mind
Things don't move, let me push this time
Tryna make peace when my old lady died
Last time l'ma ever stare at your eyes, I mean - Happy to Be Alive
[Chorus: Vuyina, Ricky Tyler]
Please hold me just a little closer, oh woah
Days like these be gettin' just a little harder
I need ah, a breather (Yeah)
My dear
[Outro: Ricky Tyler]
Fade to black and then yellow
The sun peaks for Othello
You know we come alive in these ghettos
Sliqe said somethin' about Kennels
Victory dropped, the Maria
I should've went live in Lagos
I'm still goin' through some amnesia
High Hopes playin' on Metro
