There was once a time where I had collided my knee with another player playing my game of soccer. The two of us were both sprinting at the ball and as I reached for the ball his knee went right through mine. I was one ground in pain hoping my knee would be okay. I was helped to the bench but a few minutes later I told my coach I was feeling fine even though I was not feeling fine. I felt the need to lie because I wanted to play as it was a semi final game in college. I ended up blowing my knee out and tearing my ACL. Had I not lied to the coach, I may have been okay. Telling him I was hurt would have been the right thing to do for myself and my team.

The worst job I have ever had would have to be going to get milk from villages back home in Syria. I was around 8 years old. The worst part about it was the fact that I had to walk over 30 miles to go get milk for my family. My family needed milk to make yogurt which was a big part of what we ate, as food was limited. I would start walking early morning right as the sun would come up. I had to be careful not to run into people because there was so much violence going on all the time. Around 3 out of 5 kids that would go get milk would get beat up and robbed. It was a battle of who can get across better than the other. Walking 30 miles and always looking over your shoulder was no fun. I was pretty good at it, although I did get caught a few times myself. I got robbed most of the time, but do have a few scars from getting beat up. I would say it was the worst job I have ever had, but at the same time I learned so much from it. It has made me tough and brave as a person.
