His reign will come

Becomes king of the Franks
Medieval Europe
It shall expand
Bring back our glory
Is what I command
To this I live my life
Until a dying breath
But the ruler of the East
Invades his lands
Al-Andalus, or so your holy quest
And Charles Martel raises his axe
At the battle of Tours
Put Islam to rest
Now Charlemagne takes the throne
Swears to reclaim the might of Rome
Up to Saxony he went
With a sword in his hand
His empire divide in three
Just how great a legacy could be
Holy Roman Emperor
Lord of Christianity
And when his soul was laid to rest
He swore on his deathbed:
“May Rome be reborn again!”
“May light shine on ours men!”
And so the tale is told
For centuries it may unfold
