This Perfect Day Lyrics by Walter Fornication

On a Journey Through Time and Space

2017

Welcome to the future
The year 141
Your fate bound to a leash
Your mind completely numb
Emotion is in the pill you ate today
And all your brothers
Made of the same clay
All hail Unicomp
Master of illusion
Freedom is obsolete
Love an intrusion
One nation
One family
One system
One travesty
Under single peace
One humanity
I was told from birth
Not to want anything
But my own reflection
Branded an outcast
With a green eye
Always question
To find the reason why
To find the secret truth
A history of deceit
I feel something seems wrong inside
What’s this feeling I cannot hide?
Can’t seem to make up my mind
Is this love? My only pride?
Tell me why it had to be this way?
Chained in a world, I had to betray
Tell me why I had to be a slave?
For a system I did not crave
Just for all I know
And all I say
I will stand my ground
On this perfect day
So I traveled to an island
In a faraway land
Built my own future
Had a real life
My destiny at hand
Still could not foresee
I was the chosen one
With my love
Went on the run
Tell me why it had to be this way?
Chained in a world, I had to betray
Just for all I know
And all I say
I will stand my ground
On this perfect day
On this perfect day
Christ, Marx, Wood and Wei
Unicomp will die today
