But I could see the shooting stars and mustered up the words
I opened up my lips to speak but had no air to end this living curse
So I watched as one by one all the lights they flickered dim
And eventually they all went out leaving nothing where they'd been
I wished upon a shooting star to excuse me from my death
I'd wish for it to end somehow but now there're no stars left
