On August 10th, 2017 I got to attend Logic's "Everybody" tour! It was held a Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore, Maryland and was my first time at the venue.
How This Works
I will be breaking down various aspects of the concert and rating them on a scale out of 10. Simple. I want to try and go in-depth so I will try to encompass more whatever I can in this review.

This is simply my review of waiting in line and before any acts touched the stage. I arrived about 2.5 hours early (because I had no VIP but I really wanted my merch) and I actually wasn't the only person who had done that, so it felt good. Anyways, the venue had no maps of what was around the pavilion (in terms of merch and food) so I figured I would venture one pier over, since that is how the Inner Harbor is situated. People actually watched the concert from these piers without paying, it's quite the loophole. Anyways, I got to this little light house, and as I get to the top, the opening act Big Lenbo is just chilling up there with some family! I shook his hand, mentioned my Genius work on his music and he loved it. That encounter absolutely made my day. I then waited in line and it was pretty standard from there, got my hat and shirt, cool stuff.

I must say, kind of swayed by meeting him and knowing most of his music, but I'm sure most of the Logic fans were with it as well. The venue was actually rather full when he came on around 7:30 and filled even more during his 20 minute show. He performed songs from his new mixtape Strange Days, and did a decent job of hyping everyone up. (Some of this was thanks to Damian Lemar Hudson, his "official hypeman")

Now, before we get into Joey himself, I have to mention his DJ. I have no clue what his name is, and can't seem to find it online, but he was the best DJ I have seen (I have not seen many sets though). He did an amazing job of hyping everyone up, then Joey came out at about 8:20. Joey ran through mostly songs from All Amerikkkan Bada$$, and the set was peaked with "Devastated". One of the songs to hear live, it was all I imagined it to be.

"Oh no, what's that, the Logic fan not giving a 10/10 what is this?" Let me explain. Logic is by far one of the best performers I have ever seen. His ability to ignite a crowd and bring them together through words is unmatched. He cares so much about people having a good time that he literally asked the people watching for free from the other pier if they were all good and having fun. Personally, I was able to rap pretty much every word of every song, and he pointed and made eye contact with me multiple times, so I had my connection with the man. Nonetheless, there were things from other shows he did not include, for whatever reason. First, when he performed "1-800-273-8255", he was alone, even though his wife Jessica Andrea was there and had performed plenty of previous nights on tour. I was excited to see her, so a tad bummed for that. But most importantly, I had avoided listening to videos in which Logic showed the crowd his newfound piano skills and sang, and he did not perform that bit either. Those two things were very key points I was excited for since the tour began, so understand my slight frustration about them. Bobby left the stage after he thanked everyone, and fans started leaving, or should I say, the unprepared fans. Knowing the setlist, Logic came back out to chants from the crowd and performed "AfricAryan" and "Gang Related" as an encore. Those fans that left weren't let back to their seats, and it was an amazing end to an amazing night!
