Boutta Check Lyrics by Will Hill

2019

[VERSE]
I remember back when I was nine, I was working with my dad
I was putting up them TV's, and stacking up my cash
I was nigga rich, bound to blow it fast
And he told me that, had to put it all in a stash
Fast forward few years, high school I was hustling
Doing anything just to get my money up and shit
Raking leaves, fixing phones, selling this and that
Go to college, making music, I was skipping class
Graduated, quit that job it ain’t no looking back
Feel the pressure, weigh the world I put that on my back
Pick it up, it ain't no way that ima finish last
Stressed out, roll the weed, then I hit the gas
[HOOK]
I said I'm boutta check, yea I’m boutta check
Fuck you niggas if you doubt it yea, don't acknowledge it
Shorty went to college yea off the scholarship
All about my cottage cheese, yea that salad yea (yea yea)
(x2)
[VERSE 2]
I used to want Ferrari with the doors up and put my toes up
Playstation controller, I want the Rover
They don't even know us, they hatin' on us
Them other niggas froze, I became a owner
I diversified my funds and increased the assets
I been mad stressed, trynna keep this out of past tense
Have you ever held 20 grand in your damn fist?
That'll change your life, lookin at it like a bad bitch
But you can't turn a hoe into a wife, live yo life
Live it like you did twice, just do it right
Gotta take a gamble though, roll the dice
Moments that I'm living now, I used to see at night
[HOOK]
I said I'm boutta check, yea I’m boutta check
Fuck you niggas if you doubt it yea, don’t acknowledge it
Shorty went to college yea off the scholarship
All about my cottage cheese, yea that salad yea (yea yea)
(x2)
