Africa must be free Lyrics by XYDAN

VULNERABLE

2025

Verse 1:
I dream of a nation with freedom and less corruption.
I dream of my mother land,in a better state without destruction.
I dream of a world ,without wars hunger and deception.
I dream of my family in harmony, and less poverty.
I just hope that one day we can be free ,from all the misery.
Man I cry to the man above if you are real fix our economy.
Chorus:
Africa must be freeeeeee,yeah yeah.
I pray that we get freeeeeeee, yeah yeah. X4
Verse 2:
Other races always come to our nations, just to spread segrеgation.
To spread their cultures and makе us forget our own destruction.
We think we are free, but freedom in Africa is an illusion.
We are not covered in chains but we are mentally enslaved.
We have been made to think we can't survive on our own like we caved.
We are stuck under their system and control, while they steal our riches.
Like they did a 100 years ago.
We have been robbed of our minerals.
They snatched the gold from South Africa and took over the river.
Of nile and milked every thing they could from Uganda.
We have been made,to think that religion is the way.
so we should sacrifice everything we own in God's way.
The arabs had their own agenda, the same goes to Europeans.
We invest in worship places, more than lucrative businesses.
Yet its the opposite in,their places man watch they faces.
Why can't we just wake up,then fight for our nations.
They are leaving us with nothing am just crying for my nation.
They are leaving us with crumbs am just crying for our creations.
They are leaving us with ruins and nothing but deprivation.
When Africans make money they don't invest in their own nations.
They move out to the U.S or England and just build there.
And forget about their own people leaving em just stuck here.
Africa is a continent of pain and alotta fear.
They instilled into our homes and people while they were still here.
Am spreading out this message hopefully it can be clear.
My work is done here, hopefully every one can finally hear.
Chorus:
Africa must be freeeeee,yeah yeah.
I pray that we get freewheel, yeah yeah x4
Bridge:
They say we gat independent, but thats a lie.
They say we gat our freedom.
But that's cap.
Mentally,we are enslaved, physically we might be walking around.
But mentally we are enslaved, physically we are free.
Mentally we are enslaved, physically we are free.
But if we are still slaves in our minds then we ain't free.
Chorus:
Africa must be freeeeeee yeah yeah(we gotta be free yeah)
I pray that we get freeeeeee yeah yeah(seeking our freedom)
Outro:
We gotta be free,am seeking our freedom.
We gotta be free, seeking our freedom.
We gotta be freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee yeah heee.
Seeking our freedom, freedom,freedom yeah.
