S.F.T.U (seek first to understand) Lyrics by Young Cisto

heroes & villains

2020

Jordan Peterson interlude:
You both the person who is persecuted and the victimizer at the same time, and you have to see both of those inside of you as actual forces in order to understand history properly.. and of course that`s a very very terrifying thing to do
Intro:
Yeah yeah yeah
Where you name
And
What's you from yeah
Am tryna know if I belong
Hook:
Where you name
And
What’s you from?
Am tryna know if I
Where you name
And
What's you from?
Am tryna know if I belong
I wanna know why you was born
I wanna know why why
Where you name
And
What's you from
Am tryna know if I belong
I wanna know why you was born
I wanna know
Verse 1:
Fuck the world plus the contraceptives
Always my perspective
Make you feel neglected
Needed my respect
Needed more directives
I don’t want incentives
I just need momentum
Shit
I must keep my mental
I just need a
I am my own mentor
I just need nada
A-no-ther dimension
Find my own limits just to expand em
So
How can I be? How can I be
If I never never understand thee
How can I reap
If I never really bleed
How can I see if I never never dream
N Honestly How can I read your heart if am illiterate
Learn me how to penetrate
Hate just disintegrates
Love it can hurt, it gon hurt
But never ever heard it
Obli-te-rate
Fuck man why a nigga a minute late?!
Nah man no mental waste
Can you wait vent-vent ventilate
We just fucking met met met I wanna medicate
Why you wanna walk away
Yeah you end up with the shit you tolerate
If you don't judge you cannot condemn-ate
Am on the cloud up up all the way
My drip went down down and I swear it condensate
Now am proud of my mind yeah of my state
Mama hold it down, please just open the gate
I can't hold it man man imma break
Wrin-kles they folding away
Info you cannot relate
Been through yeah storm and the rain
That's what I think when am recording tape
We ain't gon live forever cannot wait to donate
Make pure from the part yeah try to understand meh
Hook:
Where you name?
What's you from?
Am tryna know if I belongs
I wanna know why you was born
I wanna know why why
Where you name and
What's yous from?
Am tryna know if I belongs
I wanna know why you was born
I wanna know why why
I wanna know, tryna understand, pick on yo phone... tryna understand
