WELCOME TO KERR HALL INTRO Lyrics by Young Hav

HAV VS KERR

2024

[Intro]
August 2021 during the fall, a young brown boy straight outta Frisco
By the name of Hav
Embarks his journey
As a first year student in Mean Green nation
He settles into his dorm, Kerr Hall, on the B side
Which would define his freshmen year living experience
Some say it’s like living in a prison cell or the ghetto
If you will
However he has found himself amidst a whirlwind of introductions
And new faces. Roommates became friends
And the once unfamiliar halls began to feel like home
Howеver some turned into mеre acquaintances or drifted apart
With each passing day, he has accustomed to university life
Navigating through endless lectures, seminars
And late night study sessions at Willis
It was bittersweet for sho as some days he
Has had his worst days while he has had better ones
The Kerr Hall dorm life experience as Hav describes it, is like trying to survive a Rodeo and trying
To make it back home in one piece from constant roommate brawls
Couples having loud sex, dealing w the constant smell of OG, 808’s, & loud bass that make your heart break
Constant chit chat in the hallways
This all would keep him up all night while sleeping in for them dread 8 AMs
If there is one he could take from this
You could be roommates and live in the same residence in one moment but never speak again
Little did you guys know that myself, Johnny & Nate are still his homies to this date so he has beat the odds and kicked his opps to the curb
Wherever life takes him, Hav shall follow his passion & pursue his dreams while standing on bidness
[Bridge]
Yeahhhhh yeahhhhhh
Yeahhhh yeahhhhhh
Yeahhhh
Yeahhhh yeahhhh
Yeahhhh yeahhhh
Yeahhh yeahhhhh
[Verse]
B Side walking down the hallways
You're crossing my mind on the walkway
I be moving in on my 19th birthday
A side I done took the mattress
She straight 10 like an actress
Feeling like a king my new status
My roomie sleeping on the floor
Got my back and now he one call away
Bridge]
Yeahhhh yeahhhhhh
Yeahhhh yeahhhhhh
Yeahhhh yeahhhh
Yeahhhh yeahhhh
Got my back yeah
Triple Double I got double digits
Shooting all these shots on the court
Had to make em leave
Till I finish now we winning
Welcome to Kerr Hall
Now I show you around
We in the common room
Making out it in the lobby
Now they handing me the key
Now we locking up the room
She on top of me
BLB we standing on bidness
My whole life like a movie
I shall be on World Guinness Records
HAV VS KERR I’mma set it straight
Everyone know me across the hall
When I’m walking in I’m so groovy
We gon see who gon be on my side
When the year end you decide
For now I’mma take you on a ride
Yeahhhh that’s right
[Outro]
Yeahhh Yeah that's right
Fall to Spring you can’t save em all
Time will tell who gonna be on Hav’s side
Get ready It’s bout to get surreal
