Instantly I could hear the screams from downstairs beginning

Domestic abuse running through the corridors
I cannot tell whats the use
Should i tie the loop of a noose around my neck

Cause all these thoughts consuming my mind
Telling me i won't be fine
If my bodys meant to be a temple
Then whys the thing controlling mine telling me im mental
Forcing me to slice lines up into my wrist
Just to gain a feeling of bliss
Cause recently the pains been too much to miss
I need to reminisce on what i could be missing
Cause as i wake up and walk to the kitchen
Im greeted by the playground of where it all started
Memories of when we first moved into the apartment
And how the pain followed by
I tried to move away from it god knows why
Cause these feelings won't die
They will stick to my side
Constant struggles as i move onto breakfast
Almost as if this abuse is restless
Its got me feeling reckless
I needed to run away again
To remove the pain again
So i take a blade and create a new incision on my vein
As the blood drips down to the floor its almost as if i gain
A sudden ease from all the rage
And i feel at peace
This time i dropped to my knees
And my skin turned pale
Blood continuing to drip all onto the floor
As i wasn't sure if i was gonna live any more
The pain disappeared with the blood and i couldn't feel a thing
As i let out a sudden scream my parents came running in to witness the scene
Tears instantly dropped from their eyes as they looked into the skies
"why take a young childs life when you should have took mine, im the reason
That their feeling this way inside, im the one who should have to die"
Dialing in the numbers hitting nines three times
Trembling as he went to click the button praying to god its all gonna be fine
"come quick my childs dying a slice in their wrist and no im not lying"
The blue lights turned up outside the house as my father rushed down
Opened the door smashing up wall screaming
"shes upstairs I can't if shes okay so please make sure"
As the paramedics arrived to the scene they couldn't seem to believe
What their eyes had just seen, a body covered in scars like a
Canvas covered in art, each one a different story with a reasoning behind it
My mothers eyes covered by tears she couldn't see as if she'd just been blinded
The doctor took a deep breath as he reached for my neck no pulse to be found
Lifted up my hand and it dropped to the ground
Everyone feeling sorrow for me now
