[Hook]
They'll try to push you down that's a guarantee
You gotta rise above the hate, that's a rarity
You gotta get right up when they knock you down
Boss up, get off the ground, then turn around and
Push through...
Push through...
Push through...
Push through...
Yeah
[Verse 1: Dylan Kusch]
Some days I feel like that people wanna just hate
Cause debate, let our souls disintegrate in many ways
Flicking me down like I was pieces to dominoes
Falling to the ground like an asteroid, Yo I don't know
Structure this length of audio to reach out to my Holy Ghost
Diagnose my inner most, now my color's been exposed, and the way
My life is decoded has me in tears of emotion, the way we
Float away, life of plotting hopes on an ocean
I'm approaching all of my wantings by getting respect but no one
Has that one hundred percent, they ain't devoted to their sense
Pedal to the medal floor the gas to the high road
Am I cold for being kept to myself when the sky shows?
Only God knows where we go, to the street zone, for the mean homes
To the people with the resource, to the people with the clean course
It's, so tough, to keep the blood running
Our hearts pump, and drum thumps to keep us all loving, where it at?
[Hook]
They'll try to push you down that's a guarantee
You gotta rise above the hate, that's a rarity
You gotta get right up when they knock you down
Boss up, get off the ground, then turn around and
Push through...
Push through...
Push through...
Push through...
Yeah
[Verse 2: ZJ Mission]
I ain't playing games no more
I can't play no more, gotta pace your war
Man, your station boy
I don't take no L's, only way I suffer defeat is an amputation boy
Bossed up and I got it now
If your album dropped it's 'cuz I shot it down
Taking shots at ya'll who ever questioned me 'cuz
I'm the one who's looking at a college now
One who never gave a dag about it
Smash a rapper I don't brag about it
But I'm kinda done with doing features free
Cuz rappers drop a track and then they can't be found and
I am not spittin' bars for the hell of it
I am not spittin' bars to get hella rich
Got a truth right here I'ma tell em' it
So big, can't miss like an elephant, yeah
That was prolly uncalled for
You calling me out? I bring a knife and a long sword
I been praying to God more that I don't
Catch a body while my brother's still a sophomore
I otta talk more, ya'll should talk less
They don't wanna see a girl unless she topless
I love my girl for her heart, but not sex
I'm not a con and her heart's not a contest
But in the context, of what I'm saying
There's been a cycle of hate we should break it
Take the crimes on race and erase them
Trade love and forgiveness for hatred
Hold a grudge and you might get burned
Give it up and you might just learn what love is
People dying by the hundreds but you
Trippin' off what one did is the cause of the trouble
[Hook]
They'll try to push you down that's a guarantee
You gotta rise above the hate, that's a rarity
You gotta get right up when they knock you down
Boss up, get off the ground, then turn around and
Push through...
Push through...
Push through...
Push through...
Yeah
[Verse 3: ZJ Mission]
Tell me how it matters? If your friends all
Think you're cool and with the fashion trends
I'd rather be that person who hasn't bent
Then be straight all day stay passionate
Opinions are like an ass 'cuz everybody has one
Worry bout that and you'll never get your task done
Care about fame? I would be the last one
Live for the money? I would never be that dumb
Real talk, if you want, to be anything in life get off
Making up excuses I'll give you 5 good reasons you should get with God
One He gave his life, two He gave his love
Three He gave his grace, four He gave His Son
Five he gave us all he is and I'm pretty
Sure that that's enough. Whoa...
Sometimes I'm a jerk I'll admit that
But listen close and you might get what I'm pissed at
Cuz all these other rappers out here rapping been wack
I'm like a nail in the blanket, I rip tracks
For the glory of the King, it's more than just a dream
Misfits Only be the team, got the green light
Get a vision and see right like Andy Mineo see light
Living in the peace I've been freed twice
Never give into a thing unless it's truthful
Don't bother saying stuff to me unless the stuff is useful
Don't ever give into the hate or what you could do
Just keep your head up, your love right and push through
[Hook]
They'll try to push you down that's a guarantee
You gotta rise above the hate, that's a rarity
You gotta get right up when they knock you down
Boss up, get off the ground, then turn around and
Push through...
Push through...
Push through...
Push through...
Yeah
