It all started round the tender age of 5/
When my cousins would watch Tupac and they'd teach me how to rhyme/
They would teach me bout the walk, maybe learn about the talk/
Once I learned it'd get you girls, I have never ever stopped/

I had never made a song, I was always bout my lessons/

Then they heard I rapped, they would always call me back/
Ever since then realized that girls are all about the rappers/
Then Em made lose yourself, and then I lost myself/
Started battle rapping and then I paused myself/
This rap thing in primary, made me cool/
So I wondered what it'd do for me in high school/ now

Got into high school, had a reputation/
Yeah I was rapper then I started beat making/
Learnt about producing from a man who knew his stuff/
Learnt about the music business from a guy called Papercutt/
Then I pushed on, made songs, kinda looked like Trey Songz/
Always working on new songs, yeah dawg I never left home/
I had found the music, I was gifted with the raps/
And I wanted to be better and go on and make some tracks/
So now, me and my friends, just a bunch of rappers/
Started a rap group, called that thang slackers/
Boy those were some lessons and I'd really like to thank em/
Lasted 2 years, then went solo boy life is a blessing/
09 came, boy that was a year/
When I started thinking I could make this a career/
Matriculated school, thought I was the man/
Cause the world was bout to see my multi million dollar plan/ now

So in my first year out of school made some tapes/
Recorded a 100 songs thought I was gone be great/
That first year I was on radio, it was great/
I look back now, and ok there were mistakes/
But I was young though, doing it alone/
After 1 year doing varsity said let's go home/
Dropped out cause my idols said they always did the same/
Took my focus off of school and now I'm focused on the game/
Now I'm making records, had some hits up on the tube/
But for some or other reason wasn't really making moves/
So then I got job, realized I needed money/
That this rap thing wasn't music it was more bout being cunning/
And now I got a team realizing what I dreamed/
Understanding what is music business, what that really means/
And now you know my story, understanding it was to dream/
Turn my visions into riches watch a pawn become a king/ now
