Six Golden Coins Lyrics by Ambassadors of Funk

Super Mario Compact Disco

1993

[Instrumental Hook]
[Verse 1]
Here we are, Super Mario Land number two
Grab six coins, you're through
To face Wario in his castle
My alter ego and evil rascal
He's got the princess bound up as captive
And anyway you check it, it's unattractive
So on and on the story unfolds
On the search for those six pieces of gold
[Instrumental Hook]
[Verse 2]
Now Turtle, Pumpkin, just to name a few
Of the zones you got to pass through
So hop to Hippo level, and grab a bubble
Go outer space on the double
But while you're swimming, beware of sharks
'Cause there's villains out there to tear you apart
On and on the story unfolds
On the search for those six pieces of gold
[Instrumental Hook]
[Verse 3]
Now bonus levels are packed with gifts
Power-up, extra life, it's hit and pick
Armored with fireballs, be well prepared
But better yet, grab those bunny ears
Fight against witches and dirty rats
And you can stomp the other bosses when they attack
On and on the story unfolds
On the search for those six pieces of gold
[Instrumental Hook]
