Best Day Since Yesterday Lyrics by Beat by Beat Press

The Claw A New Children’s Musical

2021

[Dot, spoken]
But don't you see? We're the luckiest toys in the whole world! We wake up each morning knowing that our day will be AMAZING!
[Dot]
Seven A.M and the blinds go up inside the lobby
Seven o' four and the games turn on
[Aiden]
Except for ours
[Dot]
Seven o' eight and it's time to start my favorite hobby of counting all the cobwebs before they're gone
Fourteen... wow!
There goes the popcorn maker, right on cue
There's so much to see and so much to do. Oh
It's the best day since yesterday
Cause everything is exactly the same
It's the best day since yesterday
What could be better than being inside and out of order game?
[Aiden, spoken]
I dunno, I just can't help but feel that there's more to life than just popcorn and cobwebs
[Dot, spoken]
Of course there is! Like all the awesome toys we get to greet every day
Good morning Flair Bears!
[Flair Bears]
Seven Fifteen and we try to find our inspiration
Turning old dust into works of art
[Dot]
Good morning Mighty Mutant Power Turtles!
[Everyday saving the world with strength and presperation
We carry heavy shells but we do our part
[Dot, spoken]
Mystical 8 Ball! Ready for another great day?
(MOST LIKELY)
[Dot, spoken]
That's the spirit!
[All]
Here in the bowling alley by the front door
Every day feels like the one before
[Dot, 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘋𝘰𝘵]
It's the best day since yesterday!
𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦
Cause everything's exactly the same
𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦
It's the best day since yesterday
𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦'𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘺
What could be better than being inside an out of order-
[Aiden]
I've always wondered what could be out there?
Part of me feels a new adventure calls
[All, but Dot]
Is there excitement in far away places beyond these glass walls?
[Aiden]
Wouldn't that be sweet?
More new toys to meet
[Dot, spoken]
Aaaaaaaaiden, I know what will cheer you up
[Aiden, spoken]
What?
[Dot, spoken]
It's nine a.m.! Time to clean the glass with our dance mooooooves!
[Dot]
Time to clean the glass with our dance moves!
Time to clean the glass...
[Aiden]
With our dance moves!
[Dot, spoken]
I call this the moooooon walk!
[Aiden, spoken]
Thanks Dot. I dunno what I'd do if it wasn't for you
[Dot, spoken]
Hey, that's what best friends are for
[Aiden, spoken]
And you know what?
[Dot, spoken]
What?
[Aiden, spoken]
You were right
[Aiden]
It's the best day since yesterday
Because I get to spend it with you
[Aiden & Dot]
It's the best day since yesterday
[Dot]
Ten a.m. the doors are opening!
[Aiden]
Another day- lets make the most of it!
[Group 1, 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘱 2]
It's the best day since yesterday!
𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦
Cause everything's exactly the same
𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦
It's the best day since yesterday
𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦'𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘺
A bunch of old forgotten prizes
𝘈 𝘣𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘴
[Dot]
Same routine and no surprises
[All]
What could be better than being inside-
Inside-
Inside-
An out of order game!
