Dem Billz Lyrics by Butterfingers (AUS)

Bad News

2020

[Verse 1: Evil Eddie]
I got a call from the tax office the other day
I answered, and then they said that they fucked up
They missed a pay day from my heyday
Came back from vacay with a sandy vajayjay
Spin around, I'm like "fuck that"
I'm dealing with enough crap trying to raise two rugrats
Let alone pay a tax debt from way back when
I had some cash, cause now that's spent
But you can never get blood from a stone
Check out my furnace [?] and get the fuck out of my home
Lookin' fed up, you crooks never let up
You wanna know what I owe? So go do your books better [?]
I'm already selling organs to kidney theives
Just to bring in cheese for the kids we feed (?)
So I'm never gonna meet you half way
Hell of a day, it's the only way I'm gonna pay
Dem Billz
Dem Billz
[Verse 2 Evil Eddie and Fresh Violet]
So i said I'm gonna pay it, but I'll pay it slowly
They said
You'll be dead before you pay what you owe me
Rock stars are all about weed and bitches
So they all died young
What about Keith Richards?
You ain't Keith and Butterfingers aren't the Rolling Stones
I ain't Cheech but i can hold my cones
Well, you're 30 grand deep, but I'll throw you a bone
Gonna give you two weeks
Well, hold the phone
How am i gonna pay in two weeks, man? Fuck you!
Pay in two weeks or we'll have to bankrupt you
Haven't paid the gas yet, let alone the back rent
Haven't got a job, just a handful of assets
We'll be taking those as part of your payment
If you can't pay the rest, then wait for your arraignment
What, you're gonna send me to jail, for real?
One way or another, you dumb motherfuckers
Gonna come to the money, everybody gotta pay
Dem Bills
Dem Billz
[Bridge: Evil Eddie]
(Dem Billz) keep piling up
(Dem Billz) gotta pay em or my life is fucked
(Dem Billz) taught me, i should never say never
(Dem Billz) force me to put the band back together like
No
No!
No!!
Got no skills, no trade, no super [?]
Gonna go to jail if i can't raise this loot-uh
Gotta get the band back together via new stuff
New? Fuck, gotta light a fire in the booth to
Show these young cats I ain't slippin'
Got my own style, don't care where I fit in
Burn cunts with my free styles that I've written
Til i make that name into a household thing again
[Verse 3: Evil Eddie]
So every dollar I make is in another man's hands [?]
And taking a piss, I drop mollies in the chance [?]
At the end of the day, I'm all about
That scrip, paper towel, or whatever
I'm all about dem billz
All about dem billz
All about dem billz
All about dem billz
All about dem billz
All about dem billz
All about dem billz
