Needed More Soldiers To Carry The Cross Lyrics by Claybank

Roadsigns and Highways

2019

[Chorus]
We're needin' more soldiers to carry the cross
So many have fallen, too many are lost
Tribulations and trials, we're troubled and tossed
We're needin' more soldiers to carry the cross
[Verse 1]
On a tree at Mount Calvary, He gave us a plan
And the battle cry sounded, so we must make a stand
If we put on His armor, then we will overcome
Let our weapon be prayer 'til the battle is won
[Chorus]
We're needin' more soldiers to carry the cross
So many have fallen, too many are lost
Tribulations and trials, we're troubled and tossed
And we're needin' more soldiers to carry the cross
[Verse 2]
So many are blinded by the evil and sin
His army is out there and his aim is to win
Well the battle is raging, there's work to be done
Let's join in the fight for the Father and Son
[Outro]
We're needin' more soldiers to carry the cross
Too many have fallen, too many are lost
Tribulations and trials, we're troubled and tossed
And we're needin' more soldiers to carry the cross
