Politically Correct Lyrics by Eight passengers

2019

Wake up you're drowning yourself watching CNN and Fox News
They take different angles but never tell the truth
They don't care about you they say what they can to get your view
They pick and choose what you'll hear based on views
Wake up America
Why is it that we hear about the Muslim church being shot up but not the Christians
Why do they dwell on Trump's mistakes but not the Clintons
Can you see the problem?
We choose sides based on our parties
Numbed down by watching another scandal develop on T.V
I'm getting sick of us sleeping on each other
What's the point of sleeping?
We can all sleep when we're dead
Get up and fight while there's passion in your lungs

Truth is not a spectrum
I'm sorry to hurt your feelings but only one of us can be right
Yeah there may be multiple ways to get to an outcome
But there can only one truth
Let me give you an example
What is 2 + 2? 4 right. What if I said three?
You'd laugh and say I was wrong
Thanks for proving my point
God made two genders you can't argue that
Cause it's in our biology
That's greater than Scientology or whatever you wanna call it
You say you believe science except when it disagrees with you
Then you go back to your religion
Truth is black and white and ur trying to be gray and blend it all together like it doesn't matter

You may hate me for saying this but all life matters not just yours
Yeah yeah yeah I guess my opinion has no weight because I'm white
I can't have an opinion because of my skin
But that's not racist because I'm not black screw that
I'm tired of this black lives matter propaganda
Because there is only one race that matters
That's the human race how God made it
You say you want what's best for all
But you just want liberation for yourself
You're agenda your ideas
Let's finish those and screw everyone else
That's all you think about
Take the easy way out of dragging everyone down
Instead of fixing your ego and seeing what the real problem is

Let me ask you this
You want to criminalize the wall and let aliens in with no regulation
Yet our own you want to end before they even take their first breath
We have this all backwards and our life is a mess
How can we look to be blessed
When we don't even address
The one who gave us all we have
See you have it confused
I'm not saying I hate them or want them to go away
But everything has a price
Just come in the right way
And start your new life off right not committing a crime
We have innocent lives dying inside
And are pissed about the fight for immigration laws
You can't see the irony, you can't see the irony

True strength comes from keeping your mouth shut
It comes from not destroying someone's reputation who doesn't hold the same views as you
It's not to agree with everyone else just to look good
It comes from knowing what you believe and respecting the other side
What's going on with the Christian church
They are going into the word complaining about social injustice
Why's that
Stop flapping your mouth and see the real issue
We ain't perfect but that doesn't mean you can change the Bible
Change yourself, for the better
Follow Christ forget the rest
Pick up your cross and fight the fight
Stop picking and choosing what you believe
The world may look and say you're bigoted
But we were never called to listen to the world or impress its inhabitants
Follow Christ and push on through
Even if they call you Easter worshipers or those who worship in cathedrals
They're scared to say Christian because of the power behind Christ
They don't hate you! They fear God
Keep following him no matter what they say
Everything will work itself out for the good of his will
Stop being politically correct and speaking to please another person
I’m not for that, yeah, screw that
Nothing has ever changed by accepting the norm
True change comes from the outcast who said
Screw that let's leave the norm behind

We live in a screwed up generation
Where right is wrong and wrong is right
Let’s fight that and get the world to declare war on me
Anything to get views
That’s what you’ll do
I’m here with the unpopular opinion of what’s true
