Backdoor entrance (Introduction to Akataphasia) Lyrics by Emree Elentuck

The Shopping Cart of Life: A Collection of Rants, Rambles, & Random Things (Room 67 Welcomes You!)

2025

Come one, come all, to these painted white walls
Meet the patients roaming these halls all alone
The one you're looking for's here, don't touch, you can come near
For their sins, have no fear, they've atoned
Soon all of their hairs will be singed, only fair
That they get the chair, for they seek it
This hospital's shit, even I can admit
Yet their teeth still won't grit and won't speak...
It seems that there's a strange new development
Is it light or darkness in this cursed envelopment
You've come at the right time, so stay and observe
At the only time 67 says their words
They lament of a life they once lived but no more
Living like they lived is not living, I'm sure
So Patient 67 will lull you to sleep
With songs of high highs, being high in the deep
They won't suffer for much longer
Listen before they start to seep
Their train of thought might be stuck at the station
With words jumbled into messy situations
VIEWER DISCRETION'S ADVISED!
Though plug your ears and not your eyes!
Now let's all shut up, and don't apply any force
Listen to these songs sung by this walking corpse
Now it's not November, but we're looking ahead
For for them, every day is The Day of the Dead
Now I'm just gonna leave, but for my stash
I'll yoink a bit of that hard-earned cash
You guys have a show and I've gotta go
But you're welcome to stay...
...You already know
Leave at anytime
You know it's not a crime
Just a penny and dime for that wallet of mine
67... good luck
For long you won't be stuck
I'm a shitty guard, aren't I?
...Ah, fuck
