It appears that the politics of fear have persevered
The situation is severe
When opposition has been banned
And the plan to supply a single brand to meet demand
Has steady taken command of daily life and civil liberty

That there’s nothing in the documents
In need of swift amending

Someday freethinking electors
Will take control of the civil sector
Informed and armed with high-tech bullshit detectors

I admit it and I won’t try to hide it

It’s provided a sense of how it’s all divided

But the objective as I see it is to get people together

And sleep deprived they’re told the plan
All these people are no equal to the power of one man

On the surface
That kind of shit wouldn't pass for square anywhere
And I don’t care if it’s an imprint for religion or politics
I’d rather be sick & twisted
Than be a boot lick and just follow it
I’m not going to swallow it, but I guess everybody needs
And I believe what I need to be is something else indeed
