Starting Up Lyrics by HixMusi

STRZ

2024

[Intro]
HixMusi
[Chorus]
Starting up, starting up
From the ground up
Where will we end up
Starting up, starting up
From the ground up
Where will we end up
[Verse 1]
Well it’s about damn time I get on the mic
Time to show motherfuckers how to shittily rap right
A lot of trash niggas not performing good at shows
Shows how they won’t get far in the game stealing other rappers flows
Going hard on this beat I swear I can’t wait to see
Companies sell products dedicated to me
We all have dreams but mine are soon to be reality
The key is to relеase now not when grown up
Just drop trash now and improve as you blow up
Rеmove the idea that it’s just luck
Examine what your favourites do and create something thematic
Charismatic not too dramatic
Don’t stray too far keep it elastic like Chaotix nigga hold up
[Chorus]
Starting up, starting up
From the ground up
Where will we end up
[Verse 2]
Dropping whack music with weird ass sample chops
Starting it off back to back with sad rap and lo-fi pop
Decided to go crazy just listen to track 4 and 5
Damn on that shit on crack must be a crazy rollercoaster ride
I lie meaning in these lyrics but it’s easy to unpack
Relax this a trash movie but sit back have a snack
I lacked a lot of seriousness creating this record
Tracked down cool samples and fucked around with FL and my keyboard
Adored what I created but ended up making a horde
Three hours worth of beats, went back to the drawing board
Decided to condense it like the albums made in Jackson Hole
Abandoned and scrapped are the rest of those drums and chords
Lord knows I know that his timing is perfect
I’m taking that knowledge; improving until I make it
I have a long way to go from the underground to the surface
Everything will connect just watch it take effect
HixMusi
[Chorus]
Starting up, starting up
From the ground up
Where will we end up
Starting up, starting up
From the ground up
Where will we end up
[Outro]
ALRIGHT LETS GET IT-
