Yo what up, I go by the name Ra tha God. I’ve been living in Japan for about 8 years and I make dope music
2.) When Did You Begin Making Music Or Getting Into It?
I started getting into music back in 2010. At that time it was just for fun. Then a few years later, I began to take it more seriously when I was able to record in a studio
3.) How Did You Get Your Artist Name?
Growing up in New Jersey we always addressed each other as “God”. For example we would say, “What up God” “Ayе yo, God” or “Peace God”. My name is Ramеll so, it came together as Ra Tha God
4.) What Are Your Goals In Music, What Do You Think You’ll Be Able To Achieve?
My goal is to make music for the masses to enjoy and as long as I stay consistent I will be able take my career to the next level making this a full time occupation
5.) Who Are Some Artist’s That Inspire Your Sound And Do You Think Where You Live/Grew Up Influenced Your Sound?
A few artists that inspired my sound would be Jadakiss, J Cole and, Nipsey Hustle. I grew up in a few cities along the east coast so I would definitely say it’s has a major influence on my sound as well
6.) Music’s Diversity In Sound Has Expanded So Much More Recently, What Makes You Different?
I believe what sets me apart is that, I can switch up my flow depending on the type of beat allowing me to be more versatile. Also, I’m willing to try new things to be more creative and not limiting my growth
7.) Who Are Your Dream Features?
I would definitely say J. cole, Joey Bada$$ and, Drake are definitely at the top of the list
8.) What Is One Thing You Love About Making Music And What Is One Thing You Hate?
I love the whole process of making music but, the most I love about it is, sharing my thoughts and creativity with the fans. I can’t say I hate anything about making music because it’s all a process and there isn’t a right or wrong way to make music
