From the top deck of the bus we all got a signal on our phone
We discovered that 75 percent of us could work from home
For once the whole of London had shared some camaraderie
We dusted off our bikes and got some exercise for free
I had a lovely walk through all the streets I didn't know
The next time the tubes are down I think i'll give it another go
But, everything's back to normal
The tube's just like before
Everything's back to normal
No one's talking anymore
And what we learned from yesterday will always find another way
A tube strike shows resilience of London at it's peak
We londoners had been through worse
And now that we're so well rehearsed
Bring on another strike next week
