A Shepherd In Search of a Lamb Lyrics by Jeff & Sheri Easter

Thread of Hope

0

Out in the darkness
Of hillsides so steep
A shepherd so lovingly
Watches his sheep
But standing his guard
He is troubled to find
Instead of one hundred
Just ninety and nine
So, over the mountains
And ledges, he climbs
Aware of the dangers
But determined to find
The one he is seeking
Will all of his might
The wayfaring lamb
Who is lost in the night
As long as I live
I will not understand
The love of a shepherd
In search of a lamb
So, listen to someone
Who's been in the cold
Wandering aimlessly
Far from the fold
No mountain's too steep
And no valley's too far
For a shepherd who loves you
With all of his heart
So, over the mountains
And ledges, he climbs
Aware of the dangers
But determined to find
The one he is seeking
Will all of his might
The wayfaring lamb
Who is lost in the night
As long as I live
I will not understand
The love of a shepherd
In search of a lamb
As long as I live
I will not understand
The love of a shepherd
In search of a lamb
