And if an opinion is shared
Don't make any, assumptions
I worship a brown individual who was murderеd by injustice
I worship a human being who was betrayed by those he had formerly trusted
I worship a person who when confronted with whether his truths
were really the truth
He was looked in the eyes by the law and punished as if they weren’t true
And yet they were the truest of truths anyone had ever spoken
A servant of his community
A spokesperson for peace
An advocate for equality when the overall consensus was opposed
A loving human being
A completely loving human being
An unconditionally, undoubtedly, unapologetically loving human being
With not a single ulterior motive
Its my belief that he wouldn’t have cared about politics
Its my belief that he wouldn’t have considered himself left or right, And still would’ve fought for those treated unfairly
Its my belief that he would’ve fought against those spreading hate all over the world
Whether it was towards a straight white man
Or a trans African American woman
Or a homosexual middle eastern democrat
Or a straight Asian American republican
I guess what I’m saying is,
In my opinion,
We all need Jesus
