A refuge when we work too hard.   A welcome for our friends
I’ve tried to live without regret.  I hope I’ll be as ready as I should
When it’s time to leave the neighborhood
Mr Richardson and I spoke several times over the years
Mostly about the Astros and his two sons
Brian was in retail.   Bill a high school teacher
We never mentioned Vietnam
But he made sure Old Glory flew on holidays waving red white and blue.
