Always Knew Lyrics by Journey Montana, Maleigh Zan

Lucky Girl Syndrome

2025

[Intro: Journey Montana]
Oh
[Verse 1: Journey Montana]
Got my attention, babe
You needed time, you needed space
But I can tell you still miss my energy
It's no surprise to me
Went our separate ways, was playing those silly games
Hope we’re done now
[Pre-Chorus: Journey Montana]
We been off for a minute, now we on
Had to come back and get you on my arm
Now our exes can't get us on the phone
I always knew it would be you
[Chorus: Journey Montana]
(You)
You (You)
You (You)
I always knew it would be you
(You)
Oh, you (You)
Oh, you (You)
I always knew it'd be
[Post-Chorus: Maleigh Zan & Journey Montana]
Him, her won’t do, always knew it would be you
Knew it'd be
Him, her won't do, always knew it would be you
Oh, I always knew it'd be
Him, her won't do, always knew it would be you
You, you, knew it would be you
Him, her won't do, always knew it would be you
Always knew it would be you
Him, her won't do, always knew it would be you
Always knew it would be you
Him, her won't do, always knew it would be you
[Verse 2: Maleigh Zan]
Hit me up on the late night (Late night)
You could feel when somethin’ ain’t right (Ain't right)
Pick a fight with my ex just to get to you (Yeah, yeah)
Hate that everything make me think of you
All my girls think I’m trippin' (Trippin')
Recognize real and you fit it (Yeah)
I ain't seen you in a minute (In a minute)
Tryna see what’s up, is you with it? (Is you with it? Ow)
Come get it (Come get it)
[Pre-Chorus: Journey Montana]
We been off for a minute, now we on
Had to come back and get you on my arm
Now our exes can't get us on the phone
I always knew it would be you
[Chorus: Journey Montana]
(You)
You (You)
You (You)
I always knew it would be you
(You)
Oh, you (You)
Oh, you (You)
I always knew it'd be
[Post-Chorus: Maleigh Zan & Journey Montana]
Him, her won't do, always knew it would be you
Knew it'd be
Him, her won't do, always knew it would be you
Oh, I always knew it'd be
Him, her won't do, always knew it would be you
You, you, knew it would be you
Him, her won't do, always knew it would be you
Always knew it would be you
Him, her won't do, always knew it would be you
Always knew it would be you
Him, her won't do, always knew it would be you
