The beach; known as one of the happiest and most serene places in the world.  It's hard to be anything but calm and collective when you're next to the ocean. That's why it's my happy place along with so many others

Today, I will explain the sights, feelings, and sounds that make it such a peaceful place to so many people. First, you get out your car. You quickly grab your towel, bag with your sunscreen and speaker, and your water. You put your sunglasses on as you're suddenly aware of the big, bright, golden sun, radiating down on you and you head to the beach. As you're walking, you feel the wind pick up blowing fresh air on your exposed shoulders cooling you down from the hot sun. As soon as you feel the sand trickle in between your toes, you stop to take your shoes off, and embrace the feeling as you dig your toes into the cool, white sand

You look down and smile. Happy as a kid on Christmas morning that you finally made it. Continuing on through the sand, you pick the perfect spot. You put your bag and shoes down and pull out your towel. The wind catches underneath it as you lift it up and put it just in line with the sun overhead, and you look up. You look up to sky once more and notice all the clouds are cotton candy and it's just as beautiful as you imagined. Then you decide to head over to the water. The closer you get to the water, the more moist and cool the sand becomes as it breaks under the weight of your feet

You hear the waves crash, you see the seagulls soaring above you, you smell the salt spray splash against you as you wade into the warm water. This is when you remember why you love the beach. You realize it is your happy place and that nothing can go wrong here. You breathe out all your worries and smile to yourself thinking that you'd be perfectly content if you never had to leave
