STORIES (OF A MAN IN SEARCH OF GUIDANCE) Lyrics by Lewis Shaun

0

[Verse]
Late nights and buses to college, while I sit and pay homage
To my inspirators know they on it
Look out the window, see the people freezing
Believing in Jesus ‘cause they know that he has meaning
Whether, he is legend, or what I imagined
He's probably fucking mythical like a 2 headed dragon
Yet, he has the throne, people on their knees
While their bodies are hurled and unfurled through disease
In the mind, ‘cause they find out, that they fucking crazy
And I mean wacko nothing like goodfellas baby
Tellem then cause maybe, that shit has turned into rabies
Or the hope in this world that is projected by him to save me
Cause, I always see him, in various rhythm
And maybe think of a new way that I can travel to heaven
Maybe, I'll make a rocket, then I'll try and get off it
And I mean this fucking planet ‘cause I've had enough of it
You know, I think it's scary that Mary could have a baby
And look how it's affected society people be wary
Cause no one out there’s witnessed, the picture yet they still twist it
And then pick up the story then they mix it they tryna lift it
I think, religion's broken, yet the whole world is choking
On stories that are unproven but they are still loved and spoken
When I hear these stories my first thought is that they're joking
Cause of pharmaceuticals and shit that they may have been smoking
Please, if you're real give me a sign
About how I rhyme or time my shine to get to your spine
Your fine, if you're off my mind like a kind of wind up
Twisted up inside while I sit here and grind
Will, I end up in limbo, or even in hell instead
See this is what beliefs do, they just get into your head
Then if I don't believe, and stand with my heart on my sleeve
If heaven is existent will I lose the place I need
