The Future (pt. 2) Lyrics by MCskill ThaPreacha

Diary of a Supernatural

2016

VERSE ONE (MCskill ThaPreacha)
First of all you can say the future remembers me
Cos when I'm gone they gon be checking my legacy
The nostradamus of rap, i see the future clearly
In the future, ya niggas gonna respect me
I'm gonna play a big role
In the lives of your unborn kids, either they white or they negro
My records' for the soul, stupidity antidote
Some call it basic, no punchlines, its real though
I was the past, when you look in the history of rap
When we had conscious emcees who never talked about crack
But when they talked about crack it was to educate the youths/
Nowadays, everybody got a crazy view
Its 2050, I'm still conscious
I'm in the future now, still obnoxious
A-factor, B-factor, is it H-factor?
I got it all, but i ain't gat no I-Q factor
HOOK (Xboi)
So what the hell you think you're doing?
I'm tryna write my history
I'm tryna leave a legacy for the world to see
Shoutout to the wannabes
The future was yesterday, the future is today and the future is tomorrow
Tomorrow, i say the future is tomorrow, its tomorrow
The future is tomorrow
VERSE TWO (MCskill ThaPreacha)
To be honest, i see a crazy future ahead
Cos these kids are stubborn, they never wanna learn
The only thing they wanna learn is how to strip clothes
Dancing on a pole, looking at sex through a peephole
They wanna shoot guns, use matchetes
Getting a blow job while cruising in their bentleys
In the future, ain't no future
I see lil' gurls walking around naked, clear picture
Red light districts, gay marriages
Dope on the streets been legal, ya know what time this is
Now who's gon stop this? Us
How we gon stop this? Trust
In oneself, believing we can do better
As parents and teachers, we need to work together
So rise and shine fellow brothers and sisters
The future is now! Imma hola later
BRIDGE (Xboi)
Its time to stand as one
To hold each others hands
Its time for us to rise up so the future will be better
Its time to stand as one
Shine brighter than the sun
Its time for us to rise up cos the future is today
The future is tomorrow, its tomorrow, i say the future is tomorrow
