Followers (Dreams) Lyrics by Mehdi Cee and Reckonize Real

The Antidote Saudade

2020

I never ever thought
It would be like this x 4
Eyo
Crack my eyes open
Focus on the motive
Keep my gears in check
Running with my locomotion
Combust my poetry
With potency and emotion
Don't care what people spit
If it isn't for the broken
The tired the sick
All the huddled masses
S'like people following fame
Instead of stacking all the cash
And spending money they don't got
I'm guilty of the same
Try to limit when I'm in it
Not get filthy in the name of
Killing for a gamе
That kills you when it has the chance
To splattеr all your brains
Right upon the wall and glance
Telling people it's art
Get away with insanity
Released after rehab
And you well off financially
It ain't about the justice
We know it's just us
Hard to follow when it's spinning
When the news insult us
Hard to swallow avocado
When it's bruised and just nut
Hard to wallow in the brothel
When perfume is just butt
I'm just having fun fam
Spitting till my body quitting
And my soul cannot talk
Till you're splitting too
I'm just a man with some plan
Don't want to be a schemer
Put my fingers on the keys
Play the beat to release the dreamer
The only thing you gotta follow, follow your dreams
Crack my eyes open
Focus on the motive
Keep my gears in check
Running with my locomotion
Combust my poetry
With potency and emotion
Don't care what people spit
If it isn't for the broken
The tired the sick
All the huddled masses
We all running for the race
And wanna see who finish fastest
Don't ever follow me
Unless you're needing a hand
Can only help helping yourself
I'm on the beat to expand
I don't retreat, I disband
Real recognize real
I repel all that weak shit
And attract with appeal
It's fucking unreal
When people ask to follow them
No 50/50 benefit
Definitely time to abolish 'em
We running 'round in circles trying to collect all these dineros
Worshipping too many heroes, it's gotten outta control
There's something about life
Under the surface it's so fascinating
The mystery of the future
How the tempo unfold
Crack my eyes open
See all the beautiful
Adjust to the brightness
No likeness
As usual
Irrefutable
The beauty's bountiful
Wanna follow what I see to a place I'm unaccountable
Following the vibe
Walking, borrowing some time
Sifting through the leaves
Leave my sorrow right behind
Tree is hollow so I sit in it
Blast like Apollo
As I'm aiming for the stars
With a drive like Eldorado's
Tu voi fa l'americano
I'm chilling in Italy
With cornettoes in my mouth
Coffee made with the dignity
Fuck all the bigotry
Wherever you at
Typically loud mouths stand out
Imagery isn't fact
So go with what you know
Follow the right in your heart
Don't ever let the loud mouths
Distract your sights when you start
Fear of missing out cause you only live once
Until we're proven otherwise it's maybe best not to front
Be the best you can be
Don't ever be lesser
Whether breaking on the boards
Or rocking as static selectah
Whether debating on the floor
Or clocking classic endeavors
Gimme some more like Busta
Rhyming out my mind to deliver treasures
Or jewelz like OC
I'm kicking on OT
Like Nipsey hustling
Collecting all of what's owed please
Don't front if you don't got it
Don't give a fuck about your wallet
I just care about you being honest
