[Intro]
It's the final World Changers rap
Probably
And maybe I haven't changed the world
But one thing for sure
God has changed me
[Verse 1]
World Changers, yeah we on the fifth one
We keep it strong man, we ain’t never miss one
We gonna keep it strong cuz we reach the pinnacle
Our actions aren’t typical
This mission so critical
We out here living for
The service of the Lord
This ain’t no money no business, so we can store
What we reap in heaven rather than on Earth
Cuz Christ came to serve
It seems so absurd, but we serve cuz Christ loved us first
And it’s weird, i’ve been so many times that i’m accustomed
To sleeping on these mattresses and eating food that wasn’t
Quite what we wanted, but it’s aight cuz we loving everyone who puts their time to find us something that’s so much better than nothing
So I, keep on dancing though they took out the song
Jonah said they going new directions, well i’ve been on
Many new paths since the start, I remember mowing the lawn
And now i’m standing on a roof sunny, sweltering but standing strong
Gotta admit, this one was actually a new experience
It’s not every time I come back from China monday morning so delirious
It’s not every time I don’t count the Nic’s of the week for the entire whole period
I felt I was so serious, I only remember purely this
That Zach was tryna pull something neat off while playing horse
Turns out he pulled off the glass from his phone screen, well duh of course
If you jump off your phone while it is sitting on the ground
How do you expect it to be clean and pristine and safe and sound
And I’m sure that there was some other silly things that occured
But I don’t really know cuz I was so focused on doing work
Coming back the latest every day, yeah that’s the truth
But playing volleyball after every day, yeah that’s the move
[Verse 2]
That’s the move until we break the mountain that was made
I don’t wanna complain, but hey sometimes like sheep we kinda stray
When we tryna get the glory instead of giving it to a greater
Power who don’t need us to repeat lines or say “listen” just to feel acclaimed
I can see your heart, I can see your heart, well I don’t wanna judge
World changers staff members probably just wanted to share their love
I mean you got marriage advice and then you got this troll asian kid
Of course you got the OG who put the hydroflask in the vid
On the topic of ppl, let us get talking about the crew
We put the nail in the coffin, i call that we now hammerhead part 2
First off Mr. Scott, the man tried to get us to back to shower quick
And you kinda racist, but let’s face it, you were still kinda hip
Thank you Ms. Kelly for being encourager since the start
For being Mr. Tim’s right hand man when no one would play the part
Lizzy thank ya for lightening up the living with your laughter
And answering my questions quick like when you were going up that ladder
Colby you the man, thanks for being real chill
Here’s the shoutout that I promised, m.shi hammer on the grill
We cooking up some flame, I promise you they going to be raw
Till they well done, and well I call that a pleasing aroma for our God
And then maybe Aiyanna you would be satisfied
You crazy girl, but that ain’t bad cuz now we gonna make it live
Devon how you always sarcastic and still manage to do your work
Like driving away with the truck, and reversing so certain that you would make it skrt
[Verse 3]
Jed you so reliable, someone you can lean on
Cynthia you so sweet, you can’t see but you keep on
Working with the rest, and Mr. Tim you the best
Mr. Jimmy I got you next
And Amie, thanks for being so strong
Cuz we may be shingling, but you totally singled out
The purpose why we here is so we could be the feet of Jesus and go shout
That this may be uncharted waters and we walking in the desert
But there’s a pillar of cloud resting on us and we with Him forever
And Ms. Ledbetter I hope we done made ya proud
Front porch, roof, plumbing, man we even tried to clean the ground
But even greater is the Maker and the love that He’s endowed
So we all have a story about what He has done in this house
Prayers, answered, His work, done
Favors, promised, by His, Son
We’re here to share the Gospel, we’re here to go serve
We’re here to share Jesus, cuz that is God’s work
So thank you World Changers for the final encore
Devo leader times three, rapping songs times four
God where you lead me now, I pray you would open doors
For if the mission is uncharted, that means there’s always more
