Celebrate Lyrics by Nikki McKnight

Episodes

2017

I started writing a sad song to channel my pain
I  started crying, asking damn y did u go away
I  know we can't live forever. But we will be together. In a much better place. In which we'll celebrate every day
Thought I shed my last tear on ya funeral day. But barely had a day without crying since u went away
Never knew what else to do with my pain. The only therapy that worked for me was put in the music and play it
God  knows I'm gonna miss seeing that beautiful face. The Lord took from us, but then he gave us 2 in ya place
Oh  yeah we all got the news about Christina having twins. One life ends for 2 to begin
Ain't no need in being sad about that. So ima raise a glass and tip my hat about that. Know u happy bout that
Now  u and my granddad can watch over ya offspring with no worries knowing that y'all did y'all thing
Ya daughters and son doing their best to hold the family together. I swear my best times when the family together
And family's forever. So we gon carry on the tradition. Just had to holla, let u know that we miss ya. Rest In Peace sweet Mildred
I started writing a sad song to channel my pain
I  started crying, asking damn y did u go away
I know we can't live forever. But we will be together. In a much better place. In which we'll celebrate every day
Kenny & Terry, baby boys what's happening? U know cuz still out here kicking up noise with this rappin
Still repping the Can. Westside til I see ya. Dark clouds over the hood cuz we all still grieving
But I need ya to touch brothers souls. Let ya brothers know. Y'all alright now that He done called ya mother home
Tell Mell he don't need to feel guilty. May not be in here in the physical but ya spirit is with him
And I know it's hard to feel strong, let along be that. Wanting y'all & Dee back, wishing they free T-Black
So wrap ya wings around ya siblings for me. When they say they're doing aight, but in their eyes I see a different story
Tell my cousin Marc Barron and Lil Coby, they'll never be forgotten, their families coping without
But knowing that God's got em is helping to the ease the pain. Until the day we seeing y'all again...we gon celebrate
I started writing a sad song to channel my pain
I started crying, asking damn y did u go away
I know we can't live forever. But we will be together. In a much better place. In which we'll celebrate every day
