This is a letter,
enveloped with time,
and stamped with sacrificial love,
that is sent from my present to my future.
Dear Mrs. Proverbs 31,
I'm overwhelmed by the noble character you possess.
The radiation of your beauty reflects the very Light that self-sacrificially sparks this dark world.
I'm awestruck by the charm of the upright curve that lies upon your lips.
I can only observe from afar, the beauty in your Godliness.
Your benign, tender, & pleasant persona,
is the elegant fragrance that I can’t wait to continually adorn.
In fact,
I wanna say I love you,
but I'm not so sure, I know exactly what that means
But the Good Book says that,
Love is Patient, Love is Kind.
So i guess you can say that i want that ..
Patient Kind of love,
that causes us to be wise as a serpent,
but gentle as dove,
so that we don't end up settling for this world's mirage excuse of "love"
I want that selfless,
yet loving you selfishly kind of love.
For you to be the first & last to make me drop to my knees,
and cause me to look up at you and see the self-reflection of my offsprings.
I promise to love you with the entirety of my heart;
from its very pinnacle,
to every subsidence of its wavelength.
I want the brightest ray of the Son to the be our everlasting guide to a happily ever after eternal.
I want the mirrored kind of love,
that will cause people to see you,
and see the reflection of me, with HIM in the limelight.
I promise to hold you,
to cherish you and to love you when it hurts, til death do us part.
To still be your faithful knight in shining armor,
that when Delilah tries to cut off my hair,
there shall be no meeting ground,
and I will still be your standing pillar.
When our eyes meet,
I pray that it'll be like a long awaited collision of two cosmic rays, that kiss head-on to shine light unto everything that lays in its path.
So let our love shine bright, that when I stare into your eyes,
each dark & undeserving shade of my past story,
will be obliterated by the intertwined cusp of your gleam,
and the morning star of God's grace & mercy.
Let us plaster ourselves with the flawed kind of love,
the one filled with smudges,
but is filtered & saturated with the Blood of the Son of the Carpenter,
that photoshops, air brushes & then crops out our blemishes.
I want the kind of love that will make me wake me each morning, with a smile on my face,
then make me drop to my knees &
Thank God, because I know that He truly loves me.
I want the JUST RIGHT kind of love,
No, not the medium rare kind of love,
but that well-done kind of love,
that when the "Waiting" temptation presents & puts our all at stake (steak),
I would still choose to rather enjoy and savor my own Rib.
In essence I want the patient 14 years kind of love,
that though it will make me work & toil & sow by the bowers (Boaz) through the course of the night in Sorrow,
I shall be awaken with Joy as I reap my root (Ruth) in the morning; steadfast & faithful,
just like Jacob did Rachel.
So Dear Ms. Proverbs 31
I'm not even so sure I've met you.
But when I think about you I think of the most precious jewel;
Far more than rubies, pearls, sapphires ..
That which every woman will desire,
the eyes of every man can admire,
but that which only my body and soul can fully satisfy.
So allow me to take you to the school of Roses;
the Rose of Sharon,
because it is the only true way that you can fully blossom.
Let us roam in the perfect gleam of the Son & flaunt our affection like Songs of Solomon 1
so I can find some peace in the midst of this storm
and pick my virtuous rose in the midst of today's thorns,
Because you see ,
Naturally, there are 4 chambers in a heart:
Mine are occupied by the Trinity,
I'm not so good at math,
But 4 minus 3,
And I just think,
that you
