Do you hear me?
Do you hear the cries of your people?
Do you feel the trembling of hearts before your throne?
Do you see the thorns that constantly pierced my flesh?
Do the Heavens only know rejoice?
Or does it mourn over our sufferings too?


I'm trapped in playground of my mind,
Seeking getaways from above,
but my prayers just seem to constantly bounce off the four corners of these walls.
These boxed-in thoughts of fear & doubts have permeated through the wrecked-angles of my faith.
Feeling cursed, since the formation on the 6th, & overwhelmed with self destruction,
if not for your commanding 6th. I woulda ceased to exist,
I would have found peace, as if these hex are gone. (hex-a-gon).
These thoughts have lynched my peace and cremated my happiness.
They’ve held my joy at ransom.
& placed thorns in my flesh that drain out hope.


Father,
The sting of death has played angel to Angels,
that were deserving of life.
I'm asking for answers,
why does darkness loom over the homes of those that spread light, that give life?
why do the deeds of the good go unnoticed?
why do they reap the soil of grounds they never sowed?
why does your silence seem louder than our cries?
