Seen It All Lyrics by Plasthic Slash & Ace The Supreme

Ceteris Paribus

2020

[Chorus 1]
[Plasthic Slash]
ASUU went on strike for like a whole year?
43 farmers beheaded in Borno and the government be talking about how they didn't have licence to farm
[Bix F]
Wars, rumors of wars
Brothers fighting brothers
Man!
[Verse 1: Plasthic Slash]
I've seen a black man become the US president
I've seen my younger sis become a US resident
I've seen videos of soldiers
Shoot civilians in the head and shoulders and people dispute the evidence
I seen it all, gay marriage, weed legalized
I watch the world play savage with eagle eyes
I've seen a man cry when no other man died
Too much of tha bad side, something called apartheid
Seen the evil man does as he goes through life
Vile stuff, Aluu four and Ikoku five
Need a few blunts with lighter
I saw petrol sold for 20 kobo, now almost 200 naira
I seen girls who love their brothers say men are scum
Seen boys drop aces when I had twenty one
Seen denial for the recent pandemic
Not just politicians and clerics but physicians and medics
[Chorus 2]
[Bix F]
Abacha had to go, or so they said
Obasanjo fighting for third term?
[Plasthic Slash]
Military dictators coming back to be civilian presidents
Hoarding and looting of palliatives
End SARS
Bad leaders! Worse followers!
[Verse 2: Bix F]
I've seen it all via vicarious means
From the word that won't leave my lips
Or slip from my fingers then the world give me Karius memes
Elijah going up on a Chariot seems
Like a made up tale... we all wake up hale
'çause I seen a man die just to carry your sins
On a cross like a common crook, he got not one look
On the 3rd day we all got shook
My man rose out the concrete, this motivated 'Pac
We were shown how to turn Kings, peeps must have hated facts
I've seen the lame walk, He cultivated that
Faith like a mustard seed? He cultivated that
I've read the good book, it's like a time capsule
But the past is the present, no need to time travel
My mind's baffled every day I look
I've seen it all so my life is a dejavu
[Chorus 3]
[Plasthic Slash]
That Dana plane that crashed into residential buildings
Some people that had never boarded a flight in their lives died in a plane crash
[Bix F]
Miracles, men seeing visions
Lame walking, the blind seeing?
[Plasthic Slash]
Zimmerman walking free after murdering Trayvon
Cop kneeling on George Floyd's neck for nine minutes
Every second caught on film
[Bix F]
Aircraft flying, hyperloop, Tesla, man!
[Outro: Plasthic Slash]
Rest in peace, Vera Uwaila Omozuwa
Where is Leah Sharibu?
