Don’t Flatter Yourself Lyrics by RayClev

2014

Intro:
Earl Boogie:
Don't flatter yourself...self..self../
Don't flatter yourself...self..self../
Your Amazing/
Yeah, oooh, yeah../
Verse 1
RayClev:
Holding my victory hostage/
Playing hard to get cause she knowing that I got this/
Heard I was broke, took the idea & dropped it/
As open minded as the depth of my pockets/
I'm trying to get your number, but I see you ain't impressed though/
You got your Iphone, I'm cool with my metro/
So what? It's on to the next/
& if he ain't getting paid then you on to your ex/
Yeah, brutally honest cause the truth hurts/
Better then lying, or hoping an excuse works/
Holding up this shield cause your heart has been tampered/
Over, & over that's why you hold standards/
Ain't too many queens just bad bitches/
Not looking for love, on the road to fast riches/
Think you got what I want? How you in control?/
When beauty isn't in the looks it's found in the soul/
Can you promise me something that's solid/
When you only open your legs, cause I open my wallet/
To be honest, I don't even want it if it's that easy/
I respect myself, hoeish ways don't please me/
"I'm different" yeah whatever/
Ain't nothing you do the next won't do better/
Ms. i'm sorry if you feel offend--/
Damn!/
Chorus:
RayClev:
Cause you the baddest b**** around, you a boss, independent/
Don't need no man, but don't flatter yourself/
Grabbed your make-up just to pitter-patter yourself/
For my attention are you mad at me or mad at yourself/
Girl../
In that dress that you know is my favorite/
You could dish it out, but when returned can't take it/
But before I make your self-esteem cave-in/
I'm a stop there, do your thing, your amazing!/
Verse 2:
RayClev:
Do your thing, you amazing/
With that curvaceous frame that i'm craving/
But the way that you behaving don't match/
That beautiful face so the vibe won't crack/
Never sprung when it's six more continents/
Filled with other women what you doing to my confidence?/
No broke niggas, damn here we go/
Basing my status off things of material/
I'll take the L you win touche/
But if I blew up tomorrow would you feel the same way?/
I respect your grind, but when your knocking my source/
That will be the only time I knock you off your high horse/
Come down just a little bit/
I never said i'm tryna f*** or I'm finna simp/
I'm innocent, & just wanted to converse with you/
So when I say Don't Flatter Yourself, don't take it personal/
Chorus:
RayClev:
Cause you the baddest b**** around, you a boss, independent/
Don't need no man, but don't flatter yourself/
Grabbed your make-up just to pitter-patter yourself/
For my attention are you mad at me or mad at yourself?/
Girl../
In that dress that you know is my favorite/
You could dish it out, but when returned can't take it/
But before I make your self-esteem cave-in/
I'm a stop there, do your thing, your amazing!/
Outro:
Earl Boogie:
Amazing....your amazing....your amazing..yeah/
Yeah..your amazing..yeah...../
