When Ragnald awoke from his fall
he found himself in a dungeon dark
lit only by the glow of a distant torch
it's light so dim he could barely see
He could feel a chain fastened to his wrist
the chain's other end fastened to the wall
He gave it a pull with all his might
the chain broke loose, now he was free
Ragnald heard footsteps outside
he hid behind the cell door
when his jailer came inside
Ragnald knocked him to the floor
He took the jailer's sword
and cut of the jailer's head
He escaped into the corridor
looking for more blood to shed
The dungeons seemed like a maze
Ragnald wandered til he heard a noise
He hid himself in a corner
and overheard his captors' voice
Trufaldin told his henchman
When Ragnald awakes take him to the pit
The minotaur will fill him with terror
We'll arrange for Angelique to save him
He'll be so grateful, he'll become her lover
I'll be set free to return to Byzantium
Trufaldin moved on, the henchman went in
to the cell to check on Ragnald
Ragnald snuck up behind the henchman
and slashed his throat so he couldn't scream
Ragnald followed Trufaldin at a distance
intending to pounce at the right moment
