Soon the messenger returned
Announcing she was ready
Argalia went to her tent
With high expectations
There he found Marfisa
Dressed as he'd instructed
So he disrobed himself
And thrust himself on her
Suddenly Marfisa grasped
The dagger beneath her pillow
Plunging it with full force
Into Argalia's heart
Argalia's strength grew limp
As he stumbled backwards
Blood spurted from his chest
As he fell to the ground
She threw her nightgown
On Argalia's corpse
And re-armed herself
In her chainmail
With her sword in hand
She left her captor's tent
Heading for the stables
To retrieve her horse
She saddled up her beast
And rode off in the dark
Never to return again
To Constantine's court
