but it was the tug of war that took a toll
broke me to the bone and shattered them
but through forgivness I'll fix the cracked parts
with the warmth of my grown up heart
every now and then i miss our spark
but i wouldn't change the fact i lost you for the world
it helped cause a grow

it burst the damn and let the river flow
and even tho it left me at a surmountable low
it helped me grow
and now with forgiveness i wont let go
and i hope you feel whole
and i hope you grow too
the times of blue fade like the dark in the morning
hear the hopeful birds chirping
this is forgiveness
a change
that was never planned
test your feet in the sand
lose the stressful grip in your hand
forgiveness will swallow your mind
and peace is what you'll find
