4 My Ninjas Lyrics by The.Collective (Rap)

The Collective

2013

[Verse 1: Stephen the Levite]
This is for my ninjas who be killing it / doing the insignificant stuff that doesn’t get enough attention or recognition it’s / what the Son recommended and comes to us from the Spiritwho’s much of the definition of what becoming a ninja is / (what is that?) an assassin covered in something black / who rumbles like Thunder Cats / I’m buggin it’s nothing bad / but it’s that humble cat who comes when a brother asks / he’s up for another task and doesn’t want nothing back / (but the mask?) she’s invisible killing the critical / little issues considered minuscule that get forgettable / (in addition to this) all her kids are getting their vitals / her grits and sizzling griddle are mystical flipping miracles / (this is for you) who kill it in the Spirit’s similitude / hidden all in the Pentateuch / never getting the credit due / your ninjitsu is spiritual / never quit but continue to quickly hit em and slip into anonymity with your crew /
[Hook]
For all my ninjas who be serving in the background / God’s people applaud you y’all can clap now / if you’re killing it on the low your reward’s waiting for you fa sho we're here to let you know / to all my ninjas who be serving in the background / God’s people applaud you y’all can clap now / if you’re killing it on the low your reward’s waiting for you fa sho /
[Verse 2: Timothy Brindle]
This is for my ninjas who be killing it / I wanna focus on mother's at home because you’re just so considerate / you’re getting in the Scripts with little kids as I consider this I’m like / this is what missions is / you’re called illegitimate -- you’re mocked by the world / you could have been a model caught up in apparel / but you’re not trying to rock the hottest curls / cause you rather raise up little men of God and rock solid girls / your husband’s incomplete without you / you stay dependent on the Holy Spirit to pursue this ministry with power / though no claps at its appearance / you much rather show the sacrifice of Christ and pass up the career bliss / staying patient when they're fighting and spilling / instead of letting daycare disciple our children / like Luther said I say this hyper / in Christ you're pleasing to God every time you change a diaper /
[Verse 3: Zae da Blacksmith]
I roll with a clique of the sickest ninjas ridiculous with the gift / it’s a literal miracle that ninjas like this can exist / these are men and women equipped and committed to their village / they're given to staying vigilant and protect from a pillage / you know they’re good to go when you need em fo sho like firemen / some beasts hidden below on the low-low (leviathans) / they’re not afraid of what others will stay away or run from / just to execute the play they'll gladly forsake comfort / got a couple ninjas I hit when it’s time to make moves / they get a truck loaded and mobile faster than some make excuses / got ninjas that despite the sacrifice they get it done / sweeping wiping and waxing on and off like Daniel-san / got ninjas that you might think just linger in the fringes / but they’re charging towards the gates of heaven for you with their incense / disappearing in a cloud of smoke you’ll never see em hit ya / I just had to write these bars to let y'all know y'all my ninjas /
