2 Stories (Remix) Lyrics by Mic Skills

Defiant (artist: Mic Skills)

2009

Verse 1 (Mic Skills):
He was rapper but he wasn't like the rest of them
He did it for respect until that began to mess with him
Getting no recognition hurt he needed it bad
So he took the next bus and went back to the pad
He had to stay on the go always looking for a show
If there was a rap battle then he was there fa sho
He had somethin’ to prove
He put his back to the wall like he had nothin' to lose
With a walkman in his hand as he walked down the city streets
Clutched tight he could rap over any beat
His hoodie - a cloak of invincibility
A razor sharp tongue he could slit a throat lyrically
Finally the world recognized his talent
He had everything he ever wanted accept balance
He said Lord send me an Angel
She appeared to him with eyes glowing like Halos
Hook (Mic Skills & Whisper):
He loved her with all his heart
So he had to put it into all his art
Nothing came easy, it all was hard
Yeah Uh it all was hard
He loved her with all his heart
So he had to put it into all his art
Nothing came easy, it all was hard
Yeah Uh it all was hard
Verse 2 (MicFleezy):
Hook (Mic Skills & Whisper):
He loved her with all his heart
So he had to put it into all his art
Nothing came easy, it all was hard
Yeah Uh it all was hard
He loved her with all his heart
So he had to put it into all his art
Nothing came easy, it all was hard
Yeah Uh it all was hard
Verse 3 (I-K-E):
Hook (Mic Skills & Whisper):
He loved her with all his heart
So he had to put it into all his art
Nothing came easy, it all was hard
Yeah Uh it all was hard
He loved her with all his heart
So he had to put it into all his art
Nothing came easy, it all was hard
Yeah Uh it all was hard
