I could propel myself up to any height
I had 20-20 vision, but dad wasn’t in sight
Then Things got sicker and we got evicted
We moved away from all my friends I kicked it with
Moved to Atlanta, things were mad different
Me and mom living far from magnificent
Moms hustled hard, to dad I’m insignificant
Across-town now, and I lost my innocence
To a crime I didn’t know I committed
Kicked out of 8th grade before I was in it

It was hard work, nothing came easy to me
